I think Jim Wilks was the most underrated. He was as good at his position as the others, and got no recognition at all. Deuce was a great RB, but he got a good deal of credit for it.

The underrated list is completely fraudulent right off the bat... I don't see Marques Colston's name on that list.

Don't personally know a lot of Saints fans who look fondly back at the Brooks days.

I spit some coffee out this morning after reading that sentence. I don't hate on Aaron Brooks as much as some folks do but to say we look back fondly on his days in NOLA is an "overstatement" in itself.

He oddly gets a pass from a lot of people here because of the playoff win against the Rams. To me, that does not offset the myriad stupid things he did over the years. He physically had all the tools to be a very good QB, but his decision making was garbage and his leadership skills non-existent. I look on that era more as "what could have been" instead of just being happy they finally got a playoff win.

If you want a modern equivalent, look at Tony Romo. His stats are fine. He's not the worst at the position. He'll win you regular season games. But he's not going to do any more than, ever.

for me it was the comeback win vs SF
also, i don't go as far as other posters with the hate b/c i lay the bulk of AB's problems at Haslett's feet
if ditka created the condition that it was almost impossible for ricky williams to succeed here, the exact same could be said for haslett/ab
