Jon Kitna nearly pulls off an improbable upset of New Orleans Saints

Arlington, Texas -- At 38 years old, Jon Kitna's days of serving as a gunslinger should have passed him by years ago.
But age hasn't seemed to slow the Dallas Cowboys' veteran quarterback.
Since becoming the Cowboys' starter five games ago, Kitna has discovered the fountain of youth, stringing together a series of quality starts.
Despite passing for 313 yards, though, Kitna's performance was not enough to help the Cowboys pull off an upset of the defending Super Bowl champion Saints, who beat the Cowboys 30-27 Thursday evening at Cowboys Stadium.
