The $4 million-and-over club

We all know that Carolina’s Charles Johnson (he of the $30 million signing bonus and $4 million base salary) is going to make more money than any other player in the NFC South this year.
But let’s take a look at another salary-related angle. Let’s take a look at the biggest salary-cap figures (determined by base salaries, prorated bonuses and incentives) in the NFC South for 2011. Johnson is tied for fourth with teammate Jordan Gross at $10 million.
Atlanta quarterback Matt Ryan wins easily with a $13.25 million cap figure. Here’s a list of every NFC South player scheduled to count $4 million or more against this year’s salary cap.
