Saints start trimming down roster to get to league-mandated 80 players (UPDATED)

The NFL requires that all 32 teams get their rosters down to a league-mandated 80 players by the end of the day on Tuesday, and that means some will be going home. Down in New Orleans, names are starting to trickle out a little at a time as far as the cuts go and a couple players already know their fate.
UPDATED: DE Alex Brown has been waived by the Saints.
S DeAndre McDaniel - An undrafted free agent, McDaniel tweeted that the Saints have officially cut him.
WR Jarred Fayson - Not unexpected as he was playing with some injuries and the team is stacked at the position.
