Turnovers and horrible officiating allows the Bucs to take down the Saints 26-20
Full Story – Examiner.Com
On Sunday afternoon, the New Orleans Saints went into Florida to finish off a three-game road trip against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in hopes of continuing their four-game win streak. After the afternoon was over - the win streak was over, officiating the entire aftrnoon was awful, and Coach Sean Payton was due for Monday morning surgery on his torn MCL and injured kneecap.
Drew Brees threw three interceptions and there were a number of bad calls that killed Saints drives and kept Buccaneer drives alive as New Orleans lost 26-20. It didn't help any that the New Orleans running game was virtually nonexistent and the Buccaneers racked up over 400 yards of total offense.
