Green Bay Packers, New Orleans Saints look alike to New York Giants

The New York Giants had the unfortunate pleasure of playing arguably the top two teams in the NFC, and maybe the NFL, in the past seven days.
The Packers are the undefeated reigning Super Bowl champions. The Saints sit atop the NFC South and are on a four-game win streak with an 9-3 record.
The Giants fared much better in a three-point loss to the Packers than the 25-point embarrassment against the Saints last Monday night. So, how did the teams that played in the NFL opener, a 42-34 Packers win, compare to a neutral party?
