New Orleans Saints have several players miss joint practice with Patriots
Full Story – Nola.Com
Foxborough, Mass. - Several New Orleans Saints players missed the team's Tuesday joint practice with the Patriots, some due to injury and others due to the league's collective bargaining agreements.
Neither starting cornerback Jabari Greer nor his counterpart, Patrick Robinson, practiced although both players were on the field. Robinson, who has a bruised shoulder, had a helmet and shorts and did some limited physical work but no drills; Greer, recovering from sports hernia surgery, was out entirely.
The Saints then lost Johnny Patrick, one of their backup cornerbacks, to what appeared to be a back or a groin issue. After huddling with trainers, Patrick walked back to the locker room.
