New Orleans Saints position spotlight: defensive tackles
Full Story – Nola.Com
Foxborough, Mass. - At defensive tackle, the New Orleans Saints will join free agent acquisition Brodrick Bunkley with Sedrick Ellis, who is entering his fifth year. Ellis is often lined up as a nose tackle, but both men move off center on many snaps.
Bunkley is a 7-year veteran out of Florida State whom the Saints picked up from the Broncos. The 6-feet-2, 306, tackle was a first round draft pick by the Eagles, and it was there Bunkley first met New Orleans new defensive coordinator Steve Spagnuolo.
"I love it, I love the attitude, the guys I work with here," Bunkley said after Tuesday's joint practice with the Patriots. "My defensive coordinator is a great guy - I had a chance to work with him in Philadelphia a little bit, I'm familiar with the scheme. And I just love the attitude all the guys have. Guys are focused, a little bit motivated, and it's just a great feeling to be here."
