New Orleans Saints Wide Receiver Andy Tanner Should Make the Team: Fan's Take

When the New Orleans Saints make final cuts before the beginning of the 2012 regular season, there will be some tough decisions to make when choosing wide receivers. However, Andy Tanner has played well in the first two preseason games, has proven to be a capable receiver and should be considered for a final roster spot. As a New Orleans fan, I like what Tanner has done so far and think he would be a great addition to the 2012 Saints.
With the top three receiver positions held by veterans Marques Colston, Lance Moore and Devery Henderson, there are a number of players vying for the final spots. In addition to rookie Nick Toon and return specialist Courtney Roby, candidates include Tanner, Adrian Arrington and Joseph Morgan. Tanner's solid play has coincided with an Arrington injury and recent concerns about Morgan dropping passes. In my opinion, Tanner has the edge.
