Hillary's biggest problem isn't going to be emails or bengazhi or any scandal.

Her problem is that she isn't a very inspiring personality. That's why she couldn't beat Obama in 08.

I think the Dems actually might be in trouble if Hillary is the nom. Elections are about turnout more than anything else, and Hillary just isn't going to drive voters to the polls.

She's a pretty terrible political speaker.

So the classified information wasn't classified when it was on her servers, but after the fact was reclassified as classified? That would mean she did nothing wrong at the time.

Other than the fact that she wasn't supposed to be using her personal email to begin with. And this is one reason why that is a huge NO NO. Some info will always become classified later. I don't think she should go to jail, but she certainly should not be president or even running. It is called accountability. She has proven she doesn't have it.

WASHINGTON—A government intelligence watchdog found that Hillary Clinton sent at least four emails from her personal account containing classified information during her tenure as secretary of state.

In a letter to members of Congress on Thursday, the inspector general of the intelligence community concluded that Mrs. Clinton’s email contains material from the intelligence community that should have been considered “secret”—the second-highest level of classification—at the time it was sent. A copy of the letter to Congress was provided to The Wall Street Journal by a spokeswoman for the inspector general.

The four emails in question “were classified when they were sent and are classified now,” said Andrea Williams, a spokeswoman for the inspector general. The inspector general’s review covered about 40 emails in Mrs. Clinton’s inbox, which suggests the trove of more than 30,000 emails may contain more potentially confidential, secret or top-secret information.

For this specific article, yes. But it's only talking about one e-mail.

Quote:
The AP first reported the existence of the email.
Brian Fallon, a press secretary for Clinton’s 2016 White House campaign, said on Twitter that the emails were classified only in recent days.

The classified email is likely to add new fuel to the controversy over the 2016 contender's use of a private server. Republican critics have argued that Clinton's private server was vulnerable to hackers and posed a security risk.

Clinton addressed the matter again on Friday, saying she was "glad that the emails are starting to come out."

"I’m aware that the FBI has asked that a portion of one email be held back, that happens in the process of Freedom of Information Act responses, but that doesn’t change the fact that all of the information in the emails was handled appropriately," Clinton added.
I can't read the WSJ article to know what that's all about.

False. She lost to Obama because her centrist-right campaign manager Mark Penn neglected to learn or care about the state caucus vote element of delegate selection. Thus Obama snatched those up and had her beaten on the numbers by March 2008.

Hillary's high negatives from the left are simply because she is a conservadem on Wall Street, Israel, Trans Pacific Partnership, Keystone, individual and corporate tax shelters, restoration of Glass Seagall etc.. She cannot be trusted to fight Wall Street or attack income inequality.

Sorry about that.

I'll try again:

Quote:
At least four emails Hillary Clinton kept on a private server during her years as Secretary of State were classified “secret” at the time, according to an inspector general review — a finding that calls into question her assertion in March that she took care to avoid sending classified materials.

However, suggestions from Clinton aides that she didn’t knowingly keep classified information on the private account still have some life. So far, it appears none of the information was marked as classified before it moved into or out of her home-cooked email system, but that caveat has not stemmed Republican complaints that it was reckless for her to handle her sensitive work on a private system.

“None of the emails we reviewed had classification or dissemination markings, but some included [Intelligence Community]-derived classified information and should have been handled and transmitted via a secure network,” Intelligence Community Inspector General I. Charles McCullough III said in a letter to congressional committee leaders Thursday.

McCullough said a limited sample of just 40 emails “revealed four contained classified IC information that should have been marked and handled at the SECRET level” — the middle of three broad tiers of classification. The claim became public as McCullough disclosed to Congress that he had advised the FBI of a potential “compromise” of classified information in the Clinton email episode —a referral that could lead to a criminal investigation.

It’s a violation of federal law for a government official to “knowingly” move “materials containing classified information” to “an unauthorized location.”

Also, it isn't known that Clinton transmitted any classified documents at the time, she could have just received those.

Obama was correct about Government. A lot of the rules and systems were built in the 30's-40's, and really aren't a great fit for computers. At some point, things need to be re-evaluated and streamlined. Might also help security.

She is a terrible political speaker. Obama wouldn't have been close to her if she could give a speech.

It will be her downfall this time too.

Luckily for her, the GOP primary process will render all of her opponents absolutely toxic at the national level.

Clinton campaigned very well in 2008. In fact, she ended up with more votes than Obama overall.

Hillary is snakebit it appears.

The ladies I know that are democrat are even skeptical of her.

Her poll numbers are dropping and a guy that isn't even declared, is gaining. Then there's Bernie, "free money" Sanders who is actually in a statistical tie with the venerable Hillary and he has a bad personality.
