Some eye opening comments in there. The article is a little confusing at times, but worth a read:

JACKSON — Longtime New Orleans Saints radio broadcaster Jim Henderson told the Touchdown Club of Jackson that new head coach Sean Payton has had a “cleansing effect” since his arrival as head coach.

Henderson doled out a litany of personnel changes Payton made, getting rid of troublemakers to produce the new New Orleans Saints, who are off to a 5- start. Henderson’s list included Wayne Gandy, Lecharles Bentley, Kendall Jacocks, Donté Stallworth, Courtney Watson, Darren Howard, Dwight Smith, Boo Williams and Johnathan Sullivan.

There is no way Henderson said the Saints are on their way to Los Angeles. I don't know what the reporter thought she heard, but there's no way he would have said that. Lots of mistakes in the article. I guess when she said "Clemson has a world of speed" she was referring to Colston.

That's what I was thinking... man what a bad place for a typo though for anyone reading the article that isn't a diehard Saints fan and would know better.

I emailed the article to Henderson. If I get a reply I will post it. Hopefully, it is just poorly written (I think that is the issue) and the paper will print a correction.

I bet Henderson replies to your email. He is a stand up guy and will admit if he said it or set the record straight quickly if he did not. Henderson is part of the fabric of New Orleans now and he will probably be offended if the author misquoted him on something everyone is so passionate about. Surely we would have heard Jim comment on this before now if he truly felt that way.

If Henderson said that the Saints were on their way to LA, he deserves to be roasted. That is inexcusable. If he didn't say it, I hope he clears his name quickly. Otherwise, I have lost all respect for him. I will reserve judgement with the hopes this was a mistake and is cleared up.
