U-Tube sues You-Tube (2 Viewers)

Universal Tube says its site is now jammed with more than 100 times the traffic it used to get. In its lawsuit, it's demanding that YouTube either change its name or pay so that Universal Tube can create a new Web domain and corporate identity.

I feel sorry for U-tube. It must be a horrible feeling to know that you are getting millions of hits every day and people that would never know who utube is now surfing their website. What is a businessman to do?

Not at all. Youtube was threatened with many lawsuits for copyright violations and stuff like this but they didn't have any money to go after. Google was aware that they would be sued as soon as they purchased the company and I'm sure they took the needed precautions.

It's an industrial business, not retail. They don't sell iPods or t-shirts, they sell pipe machinery. Millions of hits are good when you have paid advertising, as advertisers usually pay based on traffic.
