ESPN says that McNair is back from his concussion and is ready to play. What I'm wonder is home much does the McNair offense scare you? I know they have Heap but with the new or revamped coaching staff there isn't much on any new potential game day changes. Will the staff continue as normal or make more dramatic changes in the way the manage the game.

I just can't see them making that much of a difference at this stage of the game. Has the Head coach already been running the O as he didn't have a coordinator?

I like their D against our O. This is the real challenge to me. Should be a great test for our boys.

From the article:

The result of the move won't become evident until Sunday, but the change was welcomed by McNair and the rest of the offense. "We're on the right pace for doing things offensively."

I don't think he meant to say that, but I hope he's right. I hope they do everything offensively.

Well, the offense is still going to be based on the same playbook so the only difference may be how aggressive they are with the calls. I can't see them changing their stripes though.

I'd rather face McNair because I know there is a chance to knock him out of the game again or beat him up. The only thing I fear is them running all over us. Especially if we come out flat. Running on us for a 5 minute drive to start the game will deflate the crowd.

This game can go either way for me. I'll take us 13 - 10 in a field position battle.

Why will that deflate the crowd? I don't think our crowd can be taken out of the game unless they just give up on the team. So far that hasn't happened.

RAVENS will try to run against the saints with short passes to the tightend, thats what they do best,SAINTS will have to stop the run and force mcnair to pass.

I think coach Billick will really pull out all the stops since he recently fired Jim Fassel. They have played well this season but it's almost as if they already need to stop the bleeding on the offensive side of the ball. That is what worries me the most for Sunday.

Well I could be wrong because I haven't attended a game in the dome this year yet (out of towner) but it just seems natural. It doesn't mean that they have given up, just not as excited. I am sure there are still tons of people in the dome that need to learn to scream on defense and those people will naturally sit down and shut up if we are being run on. That's all I am saying.

As long as we don't turn the ball over and give the Ravens a short field I don't see the Ravens O being able to sustain long drives against the Saints even with McNair.

I know he wants to have a good performance in front of his home people from MS, but they'll be disappointed on Sunday.

The Saints D will put a lot of pressure on McNair and force him to do what he doesn't like to do and that's throw on the run. The Saints will have a chance at 2 interceptions if we don't drop the ball. McNair isn't as young as he once was and it will show Sunday. GO Saints!

I just really enjoy the idea of this Saints team being able to play against good defensive units. I really look forward to seeing how their defense will scheme the Saints O. With so many weapons, the Saints really are a difficult bunch to stop straight up. I hope to have a great game on their Dfense and look forward to the challenge again Chicago in the future.... in the playoffs.

McNair is one of my favorite players. And I wish him well for the rest of the season.

But, of course, I hope he gets to spend most of Sunday admiring the new roof on the Dome while lying on his back after getting hit by Grant and Smith.

im looking forward to the same, lets see what our O can do against one of the better D's

Years ago when Billick took over the play calling suddenly he had one of the best offenses in the league. Hopefully we don't see a repeat of that performance.
McNair is tough, Billick will likely try to open up the run by spreading it out a little more.
Any other Saints team I'd say mark this one down as a loss and lets move on but there is something about this group and coaching staff that makes me think they are different. Every time I say "same old Saints" these guys surprise me so I'm not worried, no matter what I know the Saints will give it everything they have.

I can't wait for this game..i just feel really good about having a QB that can adjust to things, and a coach that sends our players on the field fully prepared..I love our D's chances against their Offense..

"THE SAINTS........ARE COMIN!"

Yea baby! Kick some Raven tail and stay ahead of the pack.

When was this? I know he was the OC for the Vikings set a ton of offensive records, but the Ravens' offense has never been good as far as I can remember. And that '99 Vikings team had Moss and Carter.
