For you fellow space junkies out there who get the NASA channel, they've had some interesting coverage of the current mission. The shuttle is getting ready to dock with the International Space Station very shortly, and the camera views from the space station are fascinating.

They also show views of Mission Control...I keep waiting for someone to pick their nose, spill their coffee or something...:D

Is it on DTV and what channel?

Pretty cool. I didn't know I had that channel.

I didnt want to start a new thread but the Shuttle Endeavour is about to go up on Direct Tv channel 283 or the NASA channel if you got it.....

I like to get my kids to watch it whenever I can. And also watch the landings.

There's nothing like going down to Florida and watching the launch in person.

That's on my bucket list. But I'd like to bring the kids, so I don't want to wait too long. We have family in east Tampa, so maybe a trip there, then a drive to the Cape one day.

Very cool...the kids will definitely love it. I know that there aren't too many shuttle missions left. I think they stopped doing night launches too. That was something else. You could see the entire horizon illuminated enough to see the curvature of the Earth.
