Associated Press PHILADELPHIA -- Eagles quarterback Donovan McNabb will not practice Wednesday because of his cracked rib.
Coach Andy Reid says McNabb is making progress. He also says it is still too early to determine if McNabb will start Sunday's game against New Orleans. Kevin Kolb is expected to take the snaps with the starters Wednesday.
Reid again made clear that Kolb will start against the Saints if McNabb can't play. Recently acquired Jeff Garcia would be Kolb's backup.
