As of right now we need to average 35.5 points per game in order to break the scoring record set by 2007 Patriots

Drew needs to average 3 tds per game to break Brady's record for touchdowns.

Our defense needs to average 1 interception per game to equal the interceptions of that patriot team.

Our defense needs to average 1 fumble recovery per game to equal the production of that patriot team.

Our defense needs to average 3 sacks per game to equal the production of the 16-0 patriots.

As you can see playing on offense we are as good as if not better than that team.

On defense we have "potential" to be as good as that team.

I think the scoring record and td record are both attainable. the interception and fumble totals they had that year (15FF, 19 INT) are both doable the way we are playing defense now.
The sack total they had I just don't see us coming close(46) but i don't think we necessarily have to in order to get similar results.

I for one think it is our time. After many years of being the laughstock of the Nfl and butt of many jokes, we will accomplish what many have tried and 1 came close. WE WILL BE 19-0. MARK IT.

The only record I want to see our team break is the 41-year-long lack of Saints Super Bowl wins. All the others are just icing on what would be one very tasty cake.

Drew Brees himself has said that his biggest concern is scoring one more point than the opposing team does; well, who am I to gainsay him? :)

I would rather have more in common with the 2007 Giants than the Patriots

our D isnt good enough to go 19-0, however, I can definitely see this team going 12-4 at least. It really is that good.
