By "Cerberus" set, I mean an offensive set that features Reggie Bush, Pierre Thomas, and Mike Bell all on the field at the same time... thus forming a 3-headed BEAST. PT and Bell in a pro-set behind Brees, with Reggie out wide or in the slot... There's got to be some things we could do with this.

I've asked this sorta question before, but people rather talk about whether Bush is a bust or not. I'd like to see this, I'd like to at least see 2 backs Bush and Bell/PT in the backfield and see how that works w/ our running game

I doubt it since PT & MB basically play the same role. Plus, with the way Evans is seeing the holes and cutback lanes, I see no reason why he shouldnt be on the field as a lead back on every run.

I seem to remember some "wishbone" type formations in '06.

Wasn't that long pass td to Bush in the NFC championship out of that formation?

I couldn't see this happening. The LBs would come press the LOS and knock off any RB running a route. Colston would be double covered and if our other WR would be even closely covered it would leave Brees to throw to a RB which would be bottled up at the snap.

Maybe if Shockey was in to block on the line and break off but then I think the safety comes up to cover Shockey. Leaving a CB on a RB

Anyone remmember that crazy formation the eagles ran yesterday?
