With all the talk about the bills blitzing. Is he a good pass blocker? I dont know much about him. can you cats shed some light on this?

If the Bills blitz they will get beat deep every time. I think they'll try it once or twice but I doubt we see more than that. If they do expect to Henderson and Meachem to have multiple TD's each.

On this play the Lions faked a blitz with the left OLB, Shockey runs right by him forcing the safety to pick him up leaving Meachem with single coverage with a 5'10" CB. Result - 39 yard TD.

And on this play the Lions brought a delayed blitz with the left OLB and the safety #40 gets caught in the middle of the field (not knowing who to help cover Colston or Henderson) he takes three steps toward Colston's side of the field and Brees punishes him with a 58 yard TD.

Watch the replays on the video from the end zone camera and you can see it all unfold.

Our quarterback is truly amazing. His ability to read all of this in two seconds, slide in the pocket and make the throw is mind blowing. I had to watch the replay three times before I could see it unfold.

I'm beginning to notice a lot of the Saints pass plays are designed around dragging defenders off. It's beautiful to watch, and must be a nightmare to game plan for.

I doubt Hamilton will get much time if PT is healthy. Has there been some news that says PT isn't playing?

Hamilton did have some fumble issues early in preseason. Lynell and Reggie on the field at the same time with a wet ball would give me more gray hair then I have already...

no, I was just wondering about hamilton's blocking ability. Reggie is a great pass blocker. He threw some monster blocks against philly. PT is a good blocker also.

Ive been very impressed with reggie's pass blocking.

This. Reggie blows people up as a pass blocker, which is weird, as with his size and lack of physicality in the running game you wouldn't think that he'd sell out like that as a pass blocker.

That's because he has plenty of size and physicality. It's all in people's minds with Reggie and he genuinely gets different blocking when running. Ever seen him truck a dude? Happens all the time and he's not soft.

The screen pass is a blitzing defenses worst nightmare. If they blitz hard, ditch it to reggie or PT23 everytime!

To answer your question, no Lynell is not a good pass blocker, and he does put the ball on the ground too much. I really was looking for him to be cut, and keep Pj Hill or Herb Donaldson, but they kept him around, yet again, to keep doing nothing for the team.
