When Moore comes back healthy will he bump anyone out of some time? He's got to get in there and should make us better. We just need to rotate guys in and out ot please them all. Any of receivers can light it up.

If Lance is healthy, he sees a lot of reps. He's still on the depth chart as a starter (EDIT - I was trippin', this ain't right and I should have known better) - he's a solid part of the offense and that won't chance because of his injury IMO.

And I don't think the rotating is so much about pleasing the receivers as it is keeping them fresh. Our offense is based on Drew's quick release and control of tempo. We can best keep the pressure up with fresh legs on the players in the receiving pattern. So the more we have, the more rotating we can do. It's a big part of our offense.

I suspect he'll play this week.

If he misses any time, he'll definetly bump whoever we slot(his position), if anyone.

We don't generally 'rotate' WRs, its just different packages that determine how many and who are on the field for any given play.

First Off lance is not listed as a Starter. Colston and Devery are our starters. Only time Lance has ever been list as a starter was when Colston was hurt. He will get about 20-30 affensive plays a game just like he go in week 1. He will only take away reps that were going to be his anyway(the ones he is not getting right now). He may actually loss some of his reps if Meach steps up while he is out.

OK, every team only lists two starting WRs.

But lets take a look.

The Saints do that if we're going to be unable to stop the pass rush, then we keep blockers.

But normally we go after them with a 'slot' receiver. This will be Moore.

A glue handed guy that gets open while the D chases the fast boys.

Not a starter? No, but close enough on our Offense.

Yes, that is correct. I was mistaken.

Indeed.

Meachem and Henderson help not only with stretching the field but also our run game but I'm sure they will rotate Moore in some once he is fully healthy. Surely we will also run a 4 wide set occasionally to spread out defenses in certain situations.

So...is Lance Moore a "go" for Sunday's game?

I'm pretty sure he did not practice today. Could be wrong.

But just watch whether he practices and keep an eye on the injury report. At this point, there's no way to know, but until he practices or you hear that he will play, it may be better to assume he will not.

Lance moore is a product of drew brees. I think he will see a decreased role this year.

BTW we are averaging 46.5 points a game and he has two catches....
