Best/Worst moves of the 2009 season (1 Viewer)

We all knew the Saints offense would be a Top-3 offense with talent like Drew Brees, Reggie Bush, (insert starting RB of the week here) and (insert WR wearing a number in the teens here). But thanks to Williams' attacking 4-3 scheme that uses more stunts than an old episode of Dukes of Hazzard, the defense has been almost as awesome as the offense. For a $250K (tip money at a blackjack table in the NFL's world) pay-cut out of Payton's pocket, a potential march to the Super Bowl is playing out to be a worthy investment for the Saints thus far.

Got to put Sharper on the list too. Not only for his play on the field but for his Veteran Leadership in the backfield.

He had the Eagles signing Vick as a good move.

I'm not sure what's been good about it, at least up to this point...

Agreed. His is taking up roster space and salary cap room and taking snaps that could be going to more productive players. The best that can be said so far is that the Eagles were charitable to Vick and kept him off the streets.,

Maybe the author was looking at it from another direction. This is a great deal for Vick of course. Great pay few hours and low expectations to perform. It also is a goldmine for sportswriters. Every time Vick plays or doesnt play it is a story for dozens of reporters who cant be bothered to find anything real or new to write about.
