The dome would be out of control.

Got to beat Pitt first though.

I was flipping through the channels last night and stopped on Fox Sports Southwest and they were doing one of their highlight shows. The guy on there said that they are looking into moving the Saints/Cowboys game to Sunday Night Football and that they'll keey us posted.

Coincedentally in this week's issue of TV guide they had a NFL mid-season review article and in one of the sidebars they listed the games they would like to see moved to Sunday night and the Saints/Cowboys game was one of them. They said because it would be the old "America's Team" against the new "America's Team". Plus I guess you also have to figure in the whole "Teacher vs. Student" angle with Parcells vs. Payton.

Checking the NFL schedule, the last sunday doesn't have too many competitive games on hand.

Saints vs Carolina.
Atlanta at Philly.
Jacksonville at Kansas City.
St. Louis @ Minnisota.

It has to be one of those four.

New Years Eve

It's going to be a night game that has direct playoff implications. Say, if the Saints have already clinched and the Panthers are still struggling around .500, it will probably be another game.

Actually it will be a game that can grab the highest ratings. More than likely that will be a game with playoff implications but I can see them putting the Saints on just because they seem to be a good draw for TV audiences this year.

The Chargers-Broncos does make for a better national game than the Saints Bengals.

I think SNF prefers Divisional rivalry games where they can get them, and NFC vs. AFC games haven't been all that competitive in recent seasons-- also don't forget Fox and CBS can protect limited amount of games against being moved.
