I'm going to set it at 300 yards. (Regular season production for 2009).

So do you think he'll be over or under 300 yards total?

depending when he starts. if he starts week 6-week 7. i see him having around 400 yards with 3 TD's.

if not i see him barely having 200 yards.

Good poll and good number. I take the under b/c I don't see him contributing much w/o training camp, 4 weeks of preseason games and 4 weeks of reg. season games. That's just too much to make up w/o the coaching staff having to reinvent the wheel w/ the rest of the receiving corps.

Gimme the under. It's going to be interesting to see how well Crabtree's game translates to the pros.

[edit]: I think Crabs will get <300 solely due to how much time he's missed. I really am interested to see how the guy does at the pro level though.

I say under. I'm still hoping Singletary benches him the rest of the year for being an idiot.

Over I say 650 yards and 5 tds. And he get's in the game this week and gets a catch.

EDIT: Won't play this week - I'm already 0-1

He's certainly the kind of coach who would do that. (Unless Crabtree was just awesome in practice and not playing him would clearly hurt the team).

This kid is going to be out of shape and still has to acclimate himself to NFL speed. It's going to be weeks before he gets it going, but I'd say he makes over the 300 mark for the entire season.

I don't think he will play a down this season.

Depends on where Singletary stood during the holdout.

If Singletary was pushing the FO to give in and sign Crabtree, he will play him, trying to make both of them look good.

If Singletary was not pushing the FO, or had the same position as the FO, he won't have a dog in the hunt. He will move slowly to bring him up to speed, meaning very low yardage.

It's hard to know where he stood, but based on his comments at press conferences, I suspect that he viewed the Crabtree issue as a front office/business matter that he wouldn't worry about until the player showed up. IMO.

I doubt Singletary was involved with this. I think the kid finally understood that if he holds out any longer he will not get even close to the money he wants.

Think Jim Brown's statement had anything to do with this?

I vote under for various reasons, most of which are obvious. I'm going to go even further and call an injury because he is going to be practicing with teammates in football shape and he is not. Like what's his name from the Bengals. I think he made 2 practices tops before injuring himself. You can't sit out Rooks. Take your check and play ball dang it.
