Saints and Brees getting love on Titans board (1 Viewer)

Not much love but a little.

Although, I don't understand fans saying they don't want a team who's never won a Superbowl to win it. I just don't get it. I love the story of the underdog. Teams that have never won a Superbowl make a good story if they win it.

I personally would have much rather watched Arizona hoist the Lombardi trophy last year. I guess cuz I felt a kindred spirit with them.

I'm kind of the opposite. There is a short list of teams that never made it to the superbowl. It got shorter last year and the Saints are still on that list.

Maybe misery does love company. I hate to admit I agree with this ^

I'm with you. There's nothing more...I don't know...unifying than getting behind an underdog and witnessing their story unfold. Why somebody would want the same old faces winning the trophy is beyond me.

It was Arizona's turn to shrug off the weight of history last year. I pray that it's our turn this season...but not just to make it to the show: to earn the title of CHAMPIONS OF THE WORLD.

We have the comeback players, the no-names, the veterans who have achieved as much as can be accomplished as individuals but never got to the big show. So many sub-plots and endearing characters. With Katrina as a backdrop, the emergence of undrafted free agents like PT, and the reemergence of players who were almost totally written off like Bell, it is almost perfect. The opportunity is there, we just have to sit back and watch our guys reach out and take it.

Nice...

Pretty much nails it right there.
