the ease with which NYG are beating al's bunch will be a good thing for us.
this level of competition will lessen their focus and make their execution ordinary.
by the time they get their edge back next week we'll be up by 2 tds

Quite a stretch there buddy

don't worry i warmed up on the EE board first

but i really do think that going against really poor competition has an adverse effect

now if you want a stretch how bout this - remember how dulled we were against miami after the raiders pre-season game?

Eh that doesn't count it was pre-season, not to mention key players like Brees didn't play.

If playing the Raiders dulls the Giants edge, what happens to us after not playing for a week? We haven't done well after Byes, although we'll have to see how they respond this year.

right that's why it was a "stretch" - a joke, see?

yes but they haven't worn SB44 shirts before

They're doing what a good team should do a lesser opponent. They'll be ready for us, just like we'll be ready for them.

Saints/Giants = A preview to the NFCCG

It could easily be the opposite. They could just take it easy against the Raiders, conserve their energy. Who knows? I think they'll either play really well against us or really **** against us.

Eli will be sitting out by middle of the third. All the Giants backups should get a lot of playing time today.

This game is no indicator of how the Giants will play against us. I am sure they realize playing us will not be this easy.

I fee like I am watching a pre-season game. This is getting ugly.

On a positive note, KC just went up 10-0 on the Cowboys.

I'd put money on the former. We're going to get the Giants' A game. They're hungry to get back to the SB and want homefield advantage. I think the Saints are hungry as well after a 2-year postseason drought. I foresee both teams leaving it all on the field. I think it could come down to turnovers. Bradshaw looks awfully good. Our D is going to have to wrap up. And we can't commit cheap penalties like the Raiders.
