Haven't the Falcons and Eagles only played 4 games like us? Each had a bye in week 4. They should be 3-1, not 4-1

It's way too early for rankings. I think all of the undefeated teams have had their moments. But with that said, all of them have some tough games coming up. The air will be a lot clearer in three to four weeks. Consider the following:

Giants: @ New Orleans; Arizona @ home; @ Philly; San Diego @ home; Atlanta @ home
Saints: (You know our schedule and it's not as tough as the one above or some of the ones below)
Broncos: @ San Diego; @ Baltimore; Pittsburgh at home; @ Washington;
Vikings: Baltimore @ home; @ Pittsburgh; @ Green Bay; (they also have games against the Giants, the Bears twice, Arizona, and Cincy)...they will soon be tested.
Colts: @ Rams; 49ers @ home; Texans @ home; Patriots @ home; @Baltimore

The schedules appear to favor the Colts and Saints based on how teams have played thus far...however, you never know when a team can get hot...remember the Cards last year? There are some other teams that bear watching because of the talent on their teams and their upcoming schedule. So at this point I don't have a problem with ranking that has us at 1, the Giants at one, or the Colts at one...but the way this thing is shapping up, we're in for a treat this season...there are some very good teams and some very bad teams with a bunch in the middle. If we can get past the Giants next weekend, we'll move into a "softer" portion of our schedule while other teams are strolling into the teeth of the most difficult portions of theirs. My prediction is for the Saints to be undefeated when we play the Falcons...if that's correct, then it will be us and the Colts as the last undefeated teams. At the mid-point of the season, the rankings will have us as 1 and the Colts 2.

What I like is that the Saints have beaten number 8 and number 10 on the list. Also those games were not even close.

I'm believing a bit more in the Bronco's this week than last, but how in the world you can place them above the Colts is beyond me. I'd put them behind the Vikings too myself, though I think the next 3 weeks may bring them back down to earth, but so far they've been clutch against good teams and have pounded some bad ones.

I would think 32 is too high for the Raiders right about now.

Must have us beating Chicago already :ezbill:

On the other side>>>>

Monday Night Football had a poll asking who the best 3-2 team was and we we're a choice.

Yeah, I saw that and was like, I think the only team to have beaten the Falcons was the Patriots, so I wasn't sure why that was a choice.

I'd say top 5:

1. NY Giants - most balanced team in the NFL. Dominating defense and very good offense
2. NO Saints - See above except dominating offense and a very good defense.
3. Minnesota - dominating defense. great running game and leadership at QB.
4. Indy - Peyton Manning. Great pass rush.
5. Denver - Grat defense. sufficient offense.

All top 5 teams at least have a very good defense and a veteran QB.
