So sez bald guy...

When I talked to folks down in New Orleans this week, they were upset with how they played last week. The Saints may not be a great team, but they are figuring some things out about themselves. After whipping Tampa Bay, they are 3-1 on the road. That's real good.

I tell you they had a rookie left tackle blocking for Drew Brees and he didn't have Joe Horn and they didn't run a lick and it didn't matter. Devery Henderson came up with two touchdowns, picking up the slack for Joe Horn.

I have been impressed with Sean Payton in that he recognizes what defenses are doing to his team and he adjusts. I tell you, this is not hard to accomplish but not enough coaches seem to be able to figure it out. That's just basic Football 101.

Now, the Saints kept trying to run, but they couldn't get nothing going. But it didn't matter. They still won. We have them next Sunday in Pittsburgh. That may not be pretty for the Steelers.

So who does Bradshaw pull for, the Steelers or the Saints?

We didn't try to run.. We let Reggie fall down a couple times but we didn't try to run..

i think its going to be a tough game next week for us...

cause the steelers are going to be PO'ED, will get back to running the ball and will be playing at home and for pride...

that DOES NOT bode well for us.

Bradshaw calls the Saints his team on Fox Pregame being he's from Louisiana and all...

Can you think of any situation playing them that would bode better? We are going in playing them in about the best position we can be in. I'd much rather them suck and be playing for pride then being good and playing for the playoffs.

The Steelers are one of those teams scaring people just because of the name on their jersey. They aren't a good team.

Man, I wish he hadn't said that. Locker room material for sure.

I think Colston will have a huge game against the Steelers. Besides Trop P at safety, their secondary has been giving up big yards. Drew will have a feast against them.

PO'd is after the defending SB champs lose 3 of their first 6. They had pride, still believed in themselves, and were mad.

Since then, they've lost a heartbreaker to the Falcs, been beaten by a team that many thought would go winless, and been abused in their own house by the team they dismantled - on the road no less - to get to the SB last year.

At this point, the MIGHT be a beaten team. We'll see how good of a coach Cowher is this week. Will they fold when things start to go bad, or will they respond?

This is one of those games that we saw as a guaranteed loss 2 months ago. Now it's a winnable game, and if we can come away with a win I think we're all but a shoe-in for the poststeason.
