Colston coming up on Jim Rome ESPN (merged) (1 Viewer)

beat me to it. someone recap I have to leave

On right now!!!

Colston - We knew coming in we were facing a tough defense, got out there on the first drive, kept the rhythm.

Said Brees has great detail in his preparation.

He is most impressed by Drew because what you see on Sunday is what you see in practice.

There's a confidence level in the locker room that's been there all season.

Going through adversity last two years makes them appreciate what they've done so far this year. The team appreciates the chemistry and gelling.

Said Drew and he are clicking very well right now. Brees has perfected the back shoulder throw.

Says he's always been low key / low profile, he's stayed humble.

When asked about defense - Alot of transactions in offseason, mentioned Jabari Greer, Darren Sharper, and Gregg Williams and that they're aggressively seeking turnovers.

-- Pretty standard stuff.

Usual stuff at first.

Tough defense/tough opponent.

Got in a good rhythm early. "Drew being Drew"

Great detail in his preparation. What you see on Sunday is what you see on Wed, Thus & Friday.

Preparation level is something I've never seen before and that's why he plays the way he plays.

There's a confidence level in the locker room. Work week is the most important part of the week, Wed thru Friday.

Highest ever attendance in the off season program before TC. Started to gel as a team in TC.

The adversity of the last 2 years has def. made them appreciate what they're doing now as a team.

Last year really frustrated mentally and obviously physically. Got back to 100 per. in off season.
Hitting the groove and clicking with Drew. Comes from the preparation and also working after practice.

Not comfortable with being look at me. "Low key", "low profile".

Love to the defense and the key D acquisitions.

Colston carries himself well, I'm impressed when I see him talk to the media he is a professional.

In an atlernate reality, Rome called him Marcia Colston and got hit in the head with a chair.

Colston was just on Jim Rome show

Man, gotta love all the love the media is giving our beloved Saints. Colston was doing a lot of talk about why he is Brees favorite target. Talked about Drew being able to perfect the back shoulder throw. Just caught the tail end of it. Still, was very good. He also talked about the defense and Sharper, Greer and Greg Williams.

It really is great to have a WR with his skill and ability that's a humble, down to Earth guy. No ego, no flashiness, just business. That's why this team is where they are right now.
