Has anyone else noticed that the first week of the Head Coaches Show on NFL Network was hosted by Jim Mora, Mike Martz and Steve Mariucci, then after that Jim Mora was mysteriously gone from the show?? Was it comments about Cutler being a "baby"? Was he fired? He appeared week 1 and thats it lol.

I thought he left after week 2. I remember watching the show and the panel was discussing the Saints when everyone had a good comment except for Mora, he did not comment at all. He appear to be still bitter towards the Saints.
Jim's personality is not on par with the other coaches and is probably why he is no longer there.

Yeah i think NFL Network quietly asked him to step down. His personality/attitude i think may have cost him again. Ouch

That's 1 great show, with or without Jim. I too have been wondering why he disappeared.

I don't know why he'd be bitter towards the Saints. It's not like he was fired.

I wish he were still there. Maybe conflict of interest with his son coaching the seachickens.

I do too, listening to Mora is always entertaining for me. He doesnt hold back punches and sugar coat things ala Mariucci, always calls it like he sees it.

He talks in front of a camera / on a radio microphone the way a guy would talk at a bar. No filter. It's part of why I like listening to him, but it's part of why you rarely get to listen to him. Years ago in Seattle he was on with some guys and someone brought up Shawn Kemp, and he said something like:

I never had much tolerance for that kind of player on my team, and I don't understand why fans loved him here or why he got a second chance anywhere. He's a fat basketball player who snorts all the coke he can get and runs around knocking women up and abandoning fatherless children. He's really overrated as a basketball player too, and is a horrible guy.

The reply after a pause to take it in and a laugh: "Gee, Jim, tell us how you really feel."
