Beanie Wells and Shonn Greene... (1 Viewer)

With Leon Washington breaking his leg, Shonn Greene has a chance for a lot more touches. So his answer is probably.

Beanie Wells looked very good last night, getting more touches and producing more with them than Hightower. So he also has a chance but less than Greene.

Yes and Yes! I have been trying to obtain Wells in my main league this year and the owner wouldn't budge. Got to give him credit to sticking with him as I have seen him dropped in a number of leagues.

i picked up wells last wednesday after reading an article about the best players to stash for the second half of the year. i figured i'd be holding onto him for awhile before he did something. guess not, which works out for me, because leon washington was my flex. i'm trying to get shonn greene as well, so i should be ok at running back.

I wish I played in a league with stupids. Anyway, at least Ricky Williams was dropped in week 3 and bailed me out yesterday with MJD, Calvin J, and MSW all on bye.

Wells will be a fantasy stud the rest of the year. Trade the house for him.
i hope you're right! i'm feeling really good about picking him up. a player like him to start in my flex position to go along with PT and chris johnson could take me to a championship. I had a terrible week with injuries as well. cooley(probably done for the year) leon washington(done for the year) and i started jermichael finley who got hurt early in his game and hardly got me any points. needless to say, i got blown out this week.

Shonn Green is avg. 6.7 yds/att. he will explode with a "hot dog" QB looking shaky at best, and he is the real deal. He will push Thomas Jones for more carries than washington did, because he seems to be a more durrable back.
Wells on the other hand is splitting time with Hightower 50/50, and has yet to show that he can handle more than that load.
So, as of now signs point to Green, baring an injury to Hightower.

Green doesn't play Oakland every week and when things get tough the Jets are not going to look to Greene to win the game. They trust Jones, and rightfully so. As far as Wells/Hightower, I think the Cardinals don't want Hightower to be the featured back, which is why Wells was drafted in the first round. As he learns the system and lets hope he learns to block in pass protection he will get more time. By the end of the year as long as Wells doesn't do anything stupid I see the time share 75/25 in his favor. Greene will hope to get as many carries as Washington got per game, about 6-8. And Greene likely doesn't have one of the assets that Washington had which made him so valueable, catching out the backfield.

So you're saying if green continues to avg. 6.7 yds/carry he wont get more touches than washington did.. and NYJ schedule isnt that bad...

Sure he may take the starting job if he post that average for 3 games straight getting 15 + carries a game. I also might wake up and find my dog turned into a briefcase full of a million dollars. But the fantasy in FF is sadly only limited to the field...
