i agree with weatherford but addai appears to be slowly turning into the starter over rhodes in indy....maroney will never start over dillon unless corey is hurt....plus addai played for LSU so that makes him cooler

Yeah, Weatherford is more deserving than Ryan, IMHO. I expect that the writer is going by gross average where Ryan is indeed performing better than Weatherford (45.9 v 44.1), but often net avg is more telling (yes, I know that often is due to good ST coverage, but the ball still has to have adequate hang time to allow for that coverage). In the case of net avg. Weatherford is outperforming Ryan (37.7 v 34.8) and doing so by 3 yards per kick.

The hype about Reggie Bush will finally cease: Trust me, I think the New Orleans Saints rookie running back has a ton of talent, but it's not showing up in the stats (512 total yards from scrimmage, one touchdown). And please don't talk to me about how defenses have to account for him. As great a decoy as Bush has been at the start of this season, that doesn't change the fact that he was being talked about like he was capable of changing the way football is played -- and correcting all the recent problems in New Orleans -- when he entered the league. I actually had one media person tell me Bush would "be the most exciting player to come into the NFL in the last 30 years." What he is, at least right now, is a player who's been a solid addition to a surprising Saints team.
