Since its officially King Cake season, I was wondering where can I order a king cake online that wont cost me 30+ dollars.

We usually order from Haydel's, which is over your price point.

But what about Randazzo's (medium kingcake $17.80, Fleur de lis kingcake 21.99)?

havent had one of these in ages! do they still put the little baby inside the cake?

Seems wrong somehow, but I would eat it.

Not sure about the delivery cost, but this is by far the best king cake.

Edit: Rouses makes a good king cake, but for that price you might as well get one from the Pecan House or the Swiss Confectionery on St. Charles. Both worth the price.

It's not the King cakes that cost, it's the shipping.....

So, you may have to come down and get one...sounds like a good excuse huh?

If you have Publix where you live, ask them about King Cakes. They have excellent bakeries in their stores.

I've gotten many from them here in ATL, and they're always fresh, well-made, and taste great. They'll even proof the cake for you and let you take it home to bake and decorate, if you prefer.

They don't do filled (at least not last year), but at $10 for a large, still warm King Cake, what's not to love?

Can order them from Rouse or Canata supermarkets, but they are right at $30.

I am a McKenzies man but I have since converted to Gambino's. Pay the extra cash and get a decent cake, brah!
