These last two games the guy has thrown some darts deep...and pretty much hit the bulleyes on all of them.

I've noticed his accuracy really improving the past month. That's probably him becoming more comfortable with the routes his WRs run, but more so his shoulder healing up. The numbers speak!!!!

He has to be allmost back to 100 percent.

It was a huge gamble (FO wise) to give Brees that contract. I think we were all holding our breath. But I am amazed how well he is playing. As good (if not better) than in 2004!!!

No concern what so ever, he has more than fullfilled my expectations.

... and if this is not 100% then imagine what he's going to be like when he gets there :worthy:

IMO - He has better receivers now than in 2004,

he wont be 100% till two years after the surgery, acorrding to what ive heard. man is great now, just wait.

The deep ball is one thing, but to see those out passes being darted in there (especially on the run). He is putting them in there with authority. It was really impressive in the game against TB last weekend when he rolled out right and hit Colston for about 12 yards. It was the fact that the nose of the ball was on a down angle which shows me that there is no significant weakness (so to speak) in the shoulder. I'm no QB expert, but that was a sign to me that he has good confidence in his shoulder. It's like a pitcher who is getting tired and the ball starts getting higher and higher in the strike zone (if it hits the strike zone). The ball, for the most part, is nose down (when it has to be) and not nose up which creates over thrown INT's.

It's no easy task to hit Devery while he's running a full speed. Brees did it beautifully.

It wasnt that big a gamble when you consider the contract structure. It was essentially a One Year tryout contract with an option for 5 more.

Brees is in a grove now. If his shoulder's not 100% yet, it must be close. He seems to be getting more and more comfortable with the offense. The passing game is gelling. It sure is fun to watch.

Brees accuracy is what amazes me. The guy throws a sweet catchable ball. Has anyone else noticed that when the team crosses the 50 yd line, Brees looks deep lately? He throws a nice 50 yd bomb, perfect touch.

I thought his arm looked really weak earlier in the year, but last Sunday I was really surprised with the longer throws he made and their velocity. I wonder if his arm is gonna be a little stronger than it ever was due to the rehab and focusing on his throwing muscles so much in workouts.
