That's right- your favorite ex-Saints QB who, along with Danny Wuerffel, Doug Nussmeier and a couple of guys named Billy Joe, combined to make one of the worst quarterback units in National Football League history- is now a United States Representative from the state of North Carolina. Discuss.

Ell, from what I have heard, he is a very moderate Democrat with a seat in a very conservative district, if he plays his cards right, he can be effective, El Lay. But its his job man. He won it now comes the tough part. I think though to be honest El Lay the real spetacle is the Virginia Senate Race, El Lay howin the hell do you determine who won that Senate spot?
Both guys have a legit shot at taking this to court if they wanted too, man. Who do you give it too? Tennessee is close but it probably will stay Republican, that may change, but I think ford ma have lost the election for the Senate and same goes Missouri as well.

But El Lay how do you deal with the Virginia race, man? It literally tied to the wire, closer then the 2000 election if you look at it.
Who wins quite frankly?

See? Ditka was right, he knew he was a winner.

He just failed to mention when he would win.

...CNN just said that if someone wins by less than 1%, Virginia law states that the loser can demand a recount... So we'll see.

This gives Dave Wilson hope! If being a bad Saints' QB is a qualiffication for office, we'd populate the entire House and Senate.

So how many sessions of congress will it take Shuler to pass a bill? I hope the house has a good running game...

You said the name "El Lay" (or "Ell") 5 times, and twice in one sentence (2 times).

I think it's safe to say, by his past history, that any bill or legislation that Shuler attempts to pass will probably be intercepted.

Supposedly there's no ballots to actually recount in Virginia because they use computerized voting with no paper trail.

Buh-bye Macacawitz!

Their not all computerized, plus there are the absentee and provisional ballots to count.

The last time we did this (last cycle,) it lasted till December and nothing major changed. So this will probably take a while and wont change the outcome.
