I've seen Sean Weatherspoon being drafted by us in more than half of the mocks that I look at every day.
The adjectives being used to describe him are leader, playmaker, and game-changer.
What I don't understand about these Mocks is how a guy like that will fall to #32.

Thoughts?

While there is a chance he's gone before pick #32, this is a very deep draft and it is possible that he could be there when we are on the clock.

I agree 100%. Apparently he won't run a super fast 40 to make him stand out. Also with DE and DT being so deep this year, it more becomes a lack of teams needing LBs this year. I think a lot of teams that need LBs this year are looking more at the hybrid 3-4 DE/LB guys.

From what I'm seen of Weatherspoon, what I really like about him is that he never shuts up on the field. He is very vocal and seems to be a character. I would love to have the saints draft him, but doubt he will be there at 32.

Those are the primary factors, alot of 4-3 OLB's could be dropping.

I've never seen any of those adjectives used to describe him. All I've seen is 'great athelete with a big mouth'. His yapping has really turned me off on him and I truly hope the Saints do not take him.

From what I have heard about him he sounds like a solid player and worth a look at that spot if he is there. I can see us taking a LB though.

We really really need a DT!!!!!!:fort:

We do, but it's likely that the 1st 4-3 OLB would be rated much higher on our chart than the 5th or 6th DT.

Suh, McCoy, Price, Williams...chances are good that these guys will be off the board at 32.

Fujita, Hargrove, Sharper, Harper and Vilma ALL talk ****. Everyone does. It's a part of the game, to get into someones head so they fear you or lose their consentration. Do all the Saints players above that I listen really turn you off as well?

This is going to be a tough decision.
It appears from what is being written that we will have real good choices
available at DE,DT,LB,TE and C at 32.
The draft is deep-deep with good players in the top 100-125.
The second round choice won't be any easier than the first.
This is a draft, unlike any i can recall, for DE and DT.
I am just a fan, this is not a draft for amateurs.
Can't wait for the fireworks to begin. JMHO. Peace.
