A lost to the Saints would release my demons. Not in my wildest dreams would I have thought that the SB champ Steelers would mirror our record of last year. I'm sure that if we the Saints beat the Steelers, a reality seed in the football world would have been planted. D-on can't say, "that's the Saints I remember." Pittsburgh will be devastated like Sherman left the south.
I remember before the season, Ben talking about the tough games they would face this year. Of course he did not mention the Saints. Frankly, I would not have considered us either. But now the game is upon us and the only thing I can come up with is that we do what other victors did x 2.
I said to myself, "the Tampa game is the type of game we usually lose" but that didn't happen. Now, a week later, I'm saying the same thing and hoping for the same outcome. It just worries the hell out of me that the SB champs have only won 2 games. I just don't want them to get # 3 this week but I know the Steelers, the media are licking their chops for a Steelers' victory at Saints expense.
