I like to read the opposing teams boards the week we play them. Rarely do I post on them, unless they are in a fantasy world like the Vikings fans last year. I wanted to repost a response from a Seattle fan on his trip to the Saints-Seattle game because it made me so proud to be a Saints fan and a New Orleanian.

"Just got back in town, went from 80 degrees at game time, to cold cold cold and snow here. All I can say, is that NOLA is absolutely beautiful, and so are the people. Nothing but class all the way around. We were well treated, entertained, and almost loved by the black and gold fans. I can't count the amount of hugs, well wishes, and pictures that people wanted to take with us. It was everything that I wanted it to be and more (except the score) There was only one fan at the end of the game that was being a total butthead, but we were able to control him. I truly thank the people for their hospitality, I will never forget it. I am a firm believer that if we can't win it all, there is not another fanbase out there that deserves it more than the Saints!"

Thank you TacomaHawk for the kind words and thank you Saint fans for being yourself.

The stadium was loud, not nearly quest loud, but the loudest I've heard in my 11 road games.

I've never heard Quest discussed as the loudest in the league.

TacomaHawk has been posting on this site for at least the past month that I know of. If you go to the EE board you will see pre-game posts as well as the one you quoted here.

Thank you, Big Al. I read and post on the EE board all the time. I don't know how I missed it. I would like to thank him personally for his kind comments.

My absolute pleasure doctorj, I made sure that I posted the same thing I did here on all the boards that I frequent, because I wanted everyone to know about the incredible experience that my wife and I shared in the city and at the game. I feel that when people go above and beyond, they deserve to be recognized for it, and you folks definitely went above and beyond. Y'all throw a hell of a party! seahawkblue is the main website that I belong to, but I also posted the same thing on seahawks.net where I post occasionally. I only hope that I can one day return the favor.

In regards to the other posts on here regarding Qwest and it being loud. All I can say is....Yes it is. There is no way that I will try and get into a match of who is loudest, we both represent very very well. :9:

I think the Kingdome had been measured decibel-wise as the loudest place in the NFL. It wouldn't surprise me if that was because of loud fans, not just dome architecture.

Wasn't the stadium designed to resonate and amplify sound? Hence all the 12th man jerseys the seattle fans wear?
