While under the Payton regime, going back from 2006, the Saints are 13-8. Most of those losses also come from before the SP changed his philosophy. In '06, the Saints were 2-2, in '07 they were 1-3, in '08 they were 2-2, in '09 they were 6-1 and this year the Saints are 2-0. When the Saints are the visiting team, their record is 3-3, when the Saints are the home team they are 9-5 and obviously 1-0 on a neutral field. Since SP started giving the players extra rest when going into a long week, the Saints are 8-1 ('09-'10 and that one loss was the Tampa garbage game last year.).

Just thought I'd do a little stat digging since this is kind of relevant this week.

and when given little rest (4 days) they are 1-0 this season :ezbill:

Ok.....
define extra rest because without that your stats dont make much sense
Meaning anything more than a regular Sunday to Sunday schedule. Like, going into a MNF game, coming off a Thursday, Saturday or a bye week. Basically anything more than 6 days in between games.
