Didn't see a thread on this topic. If so mods please merge. Many fans may still be traveling from Dallas but I will give my opinion.

The stadium is modern and it's a pretty nice facility. We waited in the line to get into the stadium much longer than you would to get into a Saints game. We purchased the party pass which is a good deal if its not such a big game. It was really packed and if you didn't get to the stadium early you didn't get to stand where you can see the field and you were forced to watch the game on the jumbo-tron (lol). BTW is a nice screen until they played those "make noise" and "false start" videos. My friends and I laughed so hard when we saw that mess. OMG those videos are the worse I have ever seen. Reminded me of the Hornets games when they ask the crowed to make noise. You should not have to beg 93k fans to make noise. SMH! The food of course was ridiculously over priced and I just could not pay to get a daiquiri in a Dallas Cowgirl cup...I passed on it.

But boy o boy!!! What a game!!! It was so quiet in there for the first half, when the second half started I almost fell asleep. You all should have saw the faces of the Cowgirls fans when Jenkins stripped that ball and when they missed the field goal.....PRICELESS. Over all we were around some pretty cool Cowgirl fans and had a good time! Happy Saintsgiving SR!!!! WHO DAT!!!!!

i had a great time. the stadium has all those bells and whistles, but no hard liquor bars unless you sit in the Club, not to mention all of the seats are hard plastic. ill take our "outdated" dome any day of the week, at least they know how to get you drunk and keep your *** comfy.

the cowboys fans were cool and laughed a lot when i danced, until they got on a roll in the second half and then ragged me a little about not dancing. it was good natured, and they shook my hand when we won.

overall it was one of the best away game experiences ive had, and im sure everything will be even more expensive this February!

The facility is a monument to ego and excess with dancing girls in cages and spewing fountains on each end of the thing.

Having said that I liked our seats even though they were in the 400 section. Had a great view of the giant screen which is awesome except for the training videos for cowboy fans to make noise. Side note: I was in Texas Stadium the last time we played there and they had to show a graphic that said "Shhhhh we're on offense" BAWAHAA!

Lots of Saints fans around us and it was very loud many times. The DEEEFEEENSE chant started somewhere over to our right and continued on through the stadium.

The beer vendors came by like every 5 minutes. Never ran dry the whole game. Never had to wait in the bathroom and there was one right on the concourse outside our section. I didn't go smoke the whole game because it was a long way down to the outside but for non smokers obviously no big deal.

Getting in took forever but exiting was quick for us until we got to the car and the traffic was unbelievably bad for awhile. After participating in a high five line on the upper concourse for fans leaving we saw a lot of Saint fans lining the concourses shouting Who Dat as we descended the many ramps to the ground level. That was way cool. Are there escalators in that place? If there are we missed them.

All in all I liked the place. Still a little fuzzy headed tonight after the celebrations but well worth the trip down there.

well it took us a long time to get in as well. we had to walk around the whole stadium to get in, but once we were in it was pretty cool setup. the big screen is awesome and the facilities are top notch. very interesting stadium and setup. very very commercial.

now, after the national anthem, the who dats did the who dat chant which i did as well, in moderation. a cowgirl fan a couple of rows from me said something about not ******** on his stadium. i told him i couldn't hear him, even though i could. that probably upset him more. then he told me they don't kill people at their stadium. i presume he was referring to katrina but did not ask so i kinda ignored him with a whatever statement. that got him burning even more. the women around just said ignore him, i did. all ok. basically he made an idiot out of himself.

overall the cowgirl fans are a bore, at least that was my experience. they sat on their hands for the most part. one of our female friends was getting loud when the Saints did well and a cowgirl male fan told her she sounded like a man, hollering for her team another words. i think the cowgirl female fans are there for looks and posing, not necessarily for the game. it was/is different atmosphere there. very commercial, uptight fans, etc. not bad, just stuck upish. much better in the dome from what i can see with fan interraction. also had a few taunts here and there but to be expected.

anyway the guy with the mouth wound up leaving a little early and wouldn't look us in the eye after his smart comment. overall the experience was good and can't wait to make it back for the big dance.

We had a good time. The fans were pretty good....until super country boy behind us got sloshed. In his best Mater Accent (Truck from Cars Movie) he said the best thing I heard a cowboy fan say in the 4th quarter. "Can you believe we almost left in the 1st Quarter!" He kept chanting Reggie, Reggie after the fumble. We also had the fans in front of us cheering saying get up when the girls were on offense.

Thanks for posting the pics, MC !!

That was my first impression. It's a fabulous arena but it seems more like an entertainment complex than a sports venue. Food was good. Lot's of beer stands. We sat in 200 level and had to go to 400 level to find mixed drinks. I can't understand that except maybe the beer vendors paid Jerry to make it that way. Crazy stuff though. Cars in the air; dancing go go girls in the rafters; two story cleavage on the big screen. And the fans, I wouldn't give a plug nickel for their fans. They've been through a lot this year, but I remember our crowd out yelling them four years ago in the old stadium, and we pretty much did it again yesterday. They have to be prompted to do everything. Fun times though. I'll know the lay of the land come February when the Saints are in the Super Bowl.

had a great time! paid $60 to park at Cici's across from Jerry's World. Had no walk whatsoever and got in very quickly.
TONS of Saints fans everywhere. Cowboys fans in my section looked like the visiting team! They were not very animated - it was weird. Not used to see fans with no "fire"/spirit. Wasn't sure why they didn't just watch it at home.
as a woman, I can tell you I appreciated the bathroom set up!! There were about 20 stalls in the bathroom. Never stood in line for long. It was GREAT!
as far as the seats go, there is a cup holder on the back of every seat. My friend tripped on the cup holder on a bathroom excursion. I noticed multiple people almost tripping over them every time they got up to go to the bathroom too. My friend landed on the row in front of us. Thank goodness he didn't break anything. I think its bad design - they poke out a good bit.
otherwise, a brand spanking new stadium! reminded me of Wembley (went to London in '08 for the Saints vs. Chargers game) in that it was huge. But so many nice amenities.
had a great time - oh, and the W was nice too :hihi:

OK, this is a better thread than where I originally posted this:

I don't feel like starting a whole new thread about this, so let me take the opportunity to ask the question here...

I wasn't able to make it for Thanksgiving but did pay my first visit to Jerry World tonight -- my son's high school is in the playoffs.

I was surprised to hear that the crowd noise was played back through the speaker system. Was really bad when the band would play and there was that 1-2 second delay. But even with just regular cheers it just kinda sounded weird...

So my question, did they do the same thing for the Thanksgiving game??? Do they artificially increase the sound level by pumping the crowd noise through the speakers on the big video screen.

And the screen itself... I've gotta admit that I was actually underwhelmed. Sure, it's big - but the picture was slightly distorted because everyone they showed on that board looked a little stretched.

So, did you guys notice any artificial crowd noise, or was this only for the high school games.

I did notice that the concession prices were pretty high, no reducing those for a high school crowd. Three drinks, a bag of peanuts and a pretzel ran us about $30.

I didnt have a problem, but if you parked on one side of the stadium and your tickets were on the other side you had to walk around. You could only enter the gate on your ticket. The escalators were well hidden, but were there. My kid went to get a drink, and came back suckin on some cowboy crap, I almost slappped him.

Not one single problem from the fans, they played the "remember to play nice" thing like 2 times a quarter. 8.50 a beer, and I was like no way, then rezlized it was the 16 oz widemouth aluminum bottles, so I had like 6 ;) I guess the cowboy fans were in shock, because I know I was screamin get that ball and screamin like a madman before any of them knew what happened. I was getting looks like "Poor ******** Saints fan, doesnt know when to root." Then they showed it on the screen, and they just stood there lookin on in disbelief. It was awsome. Im glad they made a game of it, otherwise they all would have left for the exits early, and I would have misssed out on their priceless expressions.

The first time I heard the Defense, Defense chant while we were on D was Will Smiths INT. It seemed to me the team heard the loud chant and couldnt believe it like me. It just seemed like they reacted to it. The next time we did it, something good happened for us, so my kid did it for every play.

The referees mus die. That is all.

75.00 for parking, insane, but I got the 20.00 SR hook up. We need on of those Mitubichis in the dome, maybe not that big, but 2 story boobies in hd, nuff said.

Ate at Genghis Grill Mongolian (lunch and dinner the same day), we need one here. Introduced the family to Five Guys Burgers and Fries (getting one in Covington). Main Event, like Dave & Busters, but with bowling too.

Was going to drive to LA Fri, but now Im coming in Sunday so I can savor the trip longer.

I did not notice any replayed crowd noise, and the screen was slightly streched, but HD cheerleaders are awsome, and they put em up there alot!!!

I didn't notice any of it during the game, but I commented in pregame to my brother that it sounded like they had pumped in noise through the speakers when the Cowboys players first started to come out for pregame warmups. The Saints had just come out and got a pretty good ovation from the Saints fans, then about 30 seconds later the Cowboys came out to a HUGE roar, but I looked around and the seats were about half full and I couldn't see any Cowboys fans actually screaming.

It's a more a social event for many of the Cowboy's fans. They're there because "everyone else" is there, and don't want to be left out. I bet they aren't nearly as educated on the game as Saints fans.
