Any pics of Saints fan base at JerryWorld? (1 Viewer)

there were alot of Saints fans. And we were good and loud. As someone said when we were on defense at points you would have thought you were in the dome. The cowgirl fans pretty much are a bore, sit on their hands, and act kinda smug. They are constantly being prompted to cheer with the jumbotron. Yes to someone that asked about the who dat chant. that went on and off all night. really upset the cowgirls. it was AWESOME.

was it just me or on tv when the saints D was on the field in the first half i believe, did i hear (very clearly) DEFENSE (boom boom) DEFENSE!!!!

it was awesome being there and hearing the cheers!
I don't feel like starting a whole new thread about this, so let me take the opportunity to ask the question here...

I wasn't able to make it for Thanksgiving but did pay my first visit to Jerry World tonight -- my son's high school is in the playoffs.

I was surprised to hear that the crowd noise was played back through the speaker system. Was really bad when the band would play and there was that 1-2 second delay. But even with just regular cheers it just kinda sounded weird...

So my question, did they do the same thing for the Thanksgiving game??? Do they artificially increase the sound level by pumping the crowd noise through the speakers on the big video screen.

And the screen itself... I've gotta admit that I was actually underwhelmed. Sure, it's big - but the picture was slightly distorted because everyone they showed on that board looked a little stretched.

We were up in the nose bleed. The defense chant was awesome... After the first time the saints fans throughout the stadium picked it up and it was LOUD.

The Cowboy fans are pathetic when it comes to making any noise at all. As someone else posted, they are constantly using the jumbo screen with players to urge the crowd to make noise and it does not work. They do use piped in music up until the last second to try to manufacture noise..

Now having said that for the most part the Cowboy fans I met were nice.. much better than those who were in the Dome last year... My son and I left Lafayette at 4:30 am game day with nary a ticket in hand and when we arrived it look bleak for awhile. There were the party pass tickets available so we knew we would get in. But we finally wound up in Section 401.

Saints fans were everywhere in the upper deck and then we could see them all over once the game started. I would not gather a guess but it was at LEAST 30% Saints fans which would equate to 30,000. I think more but the point is there were a lot of us. You know if Pittsburgh brings 10,000 or Green Bay or Dallas they "travel well"... Was there any comment on Saints Fans traveling well?

Drew posted on his Facebook page:

Shout out to all the Who Dat's that made it to Dallas to cheer us on yesterday. You guys are unbelievable - the best. Home atmosphere.

Yeah, I'd say we travel well.

The loudest Saints cheer the whole game was "Reggie, Reggie, Reggie", right before he fumbled the punt.

And then the Coyboys fans all were yelling "Reggie, Reggie, Reggie" for about 5 minutes after that.
