Doug Martin anyone? (1 Viewer)

He looks tough! However, IMO Kellen Moore is the best NFL prospect on that team. But, Martin has been impressing me all year. Very impressed Doug.

The most impressive player on that field is Colin Kaepernick. He's everything Tebow was, but faster and a better passer.

By the way, Boisie State is being pounded by Nevada on this last drive. They have been worn down. Imagine what would happen to them if they had to play good teams week in and week out.

agree with everything you said. Colin may be the best player, but not the best pro prospect.

Yeah, I'm not sure that his game translates to the NFL, but he'd be interesting as a 7th round flyer or undrafted free agent. I'm not sure if his skills would translate to WR or TE, but I do have to wonder what a pro QB coach could do to fix his throwing mechanics and coach him up into being a drop back passer.

Andrew Luck isn't as high-profile as Newton, James, or Moore, but he's very mobile, has a WR-like physique, extremely accurate passer. He isn't completely NFL-ready yet, but it wouldn't surprise me if teams with wide open offenses are studying him closely now. Think of a raw Steve Young meets Tebow but much better passer.

If Newton doesn't end up winning the Heisman, Luck, perhaps LaMicheal James will get it, IMO. He's just as good, if not better, than Newton in some areas.

I think Luck is really close to a sure thing in the NFL. He's not the athlete that Newton is, but he is really close to being NFL ready.

Instant classic no matter who ends up winning, Widge. BTW, tonight's announcers said past Nevada/Boise games ended up highly charged, closely contested games. Their 2007 game went to 4 OT's before Boise won 69-67.

Wooooowww. Hartley don't have **** on the Boise State kicker. Dude has missed back to back chip shots and has pretty much lost the game for Boise State
