I just rewatched the Atlanta and the first Carolina games.
I always catch something new everytime I rewatch games...

In both these games Kyle made outstanding plays. In the Atlanta game, he was way down the field when the kick hit an Atlanta guy in the foot, Jimmy Graham alertly pitched it back into the field of play where Jason Kyle alertly caught it, he saw what was happening all along and was ready to make a play.it was now saints ball deep in their territory. How he or graham kept their feet in bounds, and recognized that mistake and acted so quickly, was truly amazing. How was he even down there that quickly?

In the Carolina game, he hit the return guy so hard, right on the ball, causing it to come out... again, saints ball. Again, down there quickly, ready to make a play. I think they were ahead at that point.

Just have never seen a longsnapper make those kinds of plays in back to back games. Not to mention he's good at his "regular" job, he's also a playmaker, much to my surprise. I have noticed before some pretty good tackling on STs by him.

Wondering if anyone knows more about this shoulder injury and if he will be back next year maybe. I think he's an asset.

Jason Kyle put himself on IR, not the coaches. Payton was rather upset about it and so were Morstead and Hartley. He said it hurt a little when making snaps. Honestly, I doubt Kyle will be back next year. Not after this.
