I turn 30 on January 13th. Briefly talked about it with the wife, but we have no real plans on what to do as far as party plans or the like. Gimme some ideas and if you're 30th was great, please share. If your's was terrible, please share. Hopefully it'll gimme an idea of what to do/what NOT to do.

Rented the top floor of the Hilton for my 30th birthday and ran up a $4000 room service fee. Saw Lisa Lampinelli and brought the party back to the hotel. It was the best birthday I have ever had.

Be sure go to a quiet place and take a moment to reflect on 30 productive years spent contributing to society and bettering yourself, your community and the world around you. Reflect upon those who gave so much to help guide you to where you are today. Appreciate the moment -- The 30 years of life.

If you don't have an adequate quiet place ... a take-n-bake pizza, a couple of Dr. Peppers and Netflix streaming.

You're 30 now. Parties are for younger people. ;)

For most people that would take all of 5 minutes what would he do the rest of the night

Tall bar stool got pulled out just as I was hopping up onto it. Went backwards, head-first into the concrete floor, knocking me out. The guy was trying to be nice by pulling out the bar stool for me but that wasn't what I was expecting so the timing couldn't have been worse.

It took right at six weeks to be able to function normally again. And even a drink of alcohol would give me a headache.

It had been a very fun night up until that point.

I somehow think this is related to your headboard comment.

30 shots of liquor in 24 hours.

This is one of the last birthdays that you might succeed at this challenge.

I once tried to emulate Ralph Macchio by doing a Crane kick on a wooden post by the river... the landing foot missed the post and I proceeded to land on the post with my crotch. :covri:
