Thread just popped up on Tigerdroppings from someone who is apparently "credible".

I'm not familiar with the posters on tigerdroppings so what do you guys think of this possibility?

Has Crowton been fired or resigned to take another position? If not, then I'm going with "rumur". Miles doesn't seem like the type to try and pull an auburn.

No, I don't think he has as of now. Hypothetically.. would you like the fit?

This would be awesome. Mike leach offense with les miles luck. We would score 75 ppg.

I like the offense Leach ran, and I like his demeanor. But I wonder how his ego would mesh with being the OC and not the head coach? If it would happen, I think it would be a short term thing until he lands another head coaching job somewhere else.

as long as he doesn't lock away any of our guys in the equipment shed this should be a good thing.

Actually I think locking some of our guys (QB, Miles on game day)in a shed would be a great thing.

Id be willing to let a blind man in a bikini guide this ship over Crowton. I have spent more time with my head in my hands as a response to Crowton's offense than Id like to mention.

Leach would develop players, and youd see a night and day difference in this offense.

Rugger beat me to it, but I was going to say Leach locking up JJ might not be so bad.

Hypothetically, I would love to see Leach's offense being run over the excuse for an offense Crowton runs any day. Leach is an excellent Xs and Os guy, just the type Les needs to have around him. Miles motivates 'em and Leach plans it. I smell a lot of scoring in that scenario.

Admittedly, he probably wouldn't be with us very long if they have the kind of success I imagine they would running his offense, but I'd take whatever time we could get, then wish him well as we did Bo Pellini - and hope the guy that follows is good....

at least he's good at grooming QB's which would be great considering we haven't have a good QB in a few years and we got the Rivers kid coming in next year. But the talent level we have with his knowledge would be awesome

I read where Crowton is a possibility for the USL job since Bustle was fired.

I thought it was ULL, but I may have misread. I thought they said "Cajuns" job.. either way. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE hire him!

Sorry, yes it's ULL. I just always referred to them as USL and forget about the new name.

Believe it or not I googled blind man in a bikini and couldn't find a picture.
