ok it took me a while to post, i kept checking out the post off and on. what i have noticed was about ( 50-50 %), give or take some, for and against. usually its more againts than for. but it seems its changed.
this is what i saw and please be honest and speak from what you really saw.
what i saw in this game today was a team that would not give up.

folks im sorry to surprise you but, we gave this game away. this team could have and should have won. but they never gave up.
yes the d messed up, but the o messed up some also. so did the coaching staff. but you know and really think about it.
we never had this problem before.
this coaching staff will have this team ready next week.
they will learn off their mistakes. i am very proud of this team today.
oh yes i hate the turnovers, i hate the huge runs but we answered back, and could have answered at least 14 more points.
this team was desperate, big time. to be honest, in the time past we would have gotten basted in this type of game.
most every one did good. but most every one missed up also.
we will learn i promise you this. i still tell you this, this team will be there inthe end.
this weekend was huge for a win,. would have set us up nice.
this team knows that and will learn.
we have not every as long as i can tell and thats quite some time, had a very good chance ( if you think about it) to get better each and every game.
im proud of how they played, and you have no idea how exited i am to see this team next week.

sorry its so long
GEAUX SAINTS

yea i agree, tough loss, but i really like how this team fights till the end. They will learn from the loss and move on.

We had 3 fumbles...that's why we lost, IMO. Other than that it was a pretty good hard fought game..defense gave up a few plays that made me made, but, the offense did pretty good, in my book. We'll win next week. I feel it already. :D

I read this board all the time and usually don't post, but after reading what LifeLong said I agree with you completely. I haven't read the other posts yet, but I'm sure some will be calling for heads and suggesting trading players that haven't come close to potential. Never have I watched a Saints team and felt confidant we could establish a drive when we needed it. Turnovers bit us on the a**, but we will learn and continue to get better.

I completely agree...rather than throw in the towel, as in years past, I definitely look to see the Saints response..with confidence. For a change, I don't count the Saints out until the clock says 0:00 (unless we fumble the ball on our last drive under a minute to go!!!) :D

Man we were in it until the last :31 seconds of the game. I think we are finally getting a taste of what it is like to root for a "team". I currently feel that this is the best Saints squad I have ever seen!

Honestly for the most part I think everybody is handling it pretty well, now does that mean I expect everyone to handle this loss like I am or the way I am, no way, its Sunday night and this is like Monday in the film room for us fans, we have to get the frustration out somewhere....As someone mentioned before they took it out on their poor old remote control....:_rofl:

I expect this to go on for a day or two and we''ll be talking of Cincy all week....

It may be the hardest non playoff related regular season game i've ever seen. Two 14 point leads from each team, turnovers, long plays, huge plays, momemtum changes. I agree it's a very encouraging loss. However, what they did on the outside vs. our defense is gonna do one of two things. Either we fix it, and stop it, or teams are gonna torch us.

Don't forget to torch our special teams, when Scott didn't down that ball on the 1, that allowed them to run with room and Parker to cut back for the 2nd long run. If they are inside the 5 he just has to run up the middle for room. Then they probably punt.
