Bergeaux, I think it should be in the TOS that it's an instant, first-time offense ban for opining on whether someone is a real fan.
Hope that's clear enough.
Got it. Thanks for the clarification!

No, I said you were entitled to your opinon. I've said that from the start. I've just said your opinion on the matter is and alluded to it being plain wrong.
Nothing was an attempt to attack you personally, but simply show you how the "real fan" definition could be applied to you.
Why don't we.
You're right. I meant to include the word "live." It meant to say you weren't going to watch it live. Not misleading, just a simple scrivner's error.
Not misleading. I asserted you don't attend Saints' home games. You're talking about Redskins' games. Real fans live in New Orleans, or at the least, you could do what I did in the 2006 season and drive down. I was living just near DC then and drove back to NO for games. That is what a real fan would do.
That's just a general statement that could apply to anyone. Hence the "too much" and "too little"
You talked about the possiblity of Porter not being the starter. That was my point. Nothing misleading about it.
Clearly your severe limitations in the home game attendance, thoughts of not watching a preseason game live and even entertaining the thought of Porter losing his starting position, even briefly, disqualify you from being a "Real Fan." Sorry, that is just the way it is. Unfortunately for you, it is a hard and fast definition, so this isn't open discussion right here. I assume you'll be putting all your Saints gear on Ebay so that "Real Fans" can have them.
I'll give you an A for effort, a C or so for comprehension and an F for "getting it."
Check that post again. I was responding to 26.2, not you.
That's your opinion. I got what you were trying to do. It just lacked accuracy throughout it's content. That led me to believe that it was intentional.
Sometimes my wife will withhold complaining about something until I complain about something. Then she'll yell back that complaint as a defense mechanism.
This makes me angry, and I can't make her understand that there's a difference between complaining that there's trash on the counter and saving it as ammunition in a fight to be begun later.
In this moment, she can't see the hypocrisy, and becomes completely illogical.
Can you see what I'm getting at? Bergeaux is my wife and the rest of the entire world is me.
Your not a real fan until you've posted in the "Removed from Dome for STANDING" thread
My position is that people have the right to an opinion, but that opinion should not be allowed to infringe on other people's rights. How does that apply to your analogy?
If I'm truly doing something like you're wife is doing, I want to get it. I do and will learn from it. I just don't see the comparison. Help me out here!
(I'm serious, I want to understand)
EDIT: NM, no need to continue putting other through this argument, I'll PM you.
MODS...Please end this thread now. Before it escalates into something all parties wish did not happen later.
Before you leave the thread, can you do one thing for me? And perhaps it is best to do in its own thread and maybe do it BTL, but can we list out the requirements for what makes "Real Fans"? I think it is only fair to know what the measuring stick is. I am serious here. I do want to understand the "Real Fan" checklist.
Since this started the conversation, I'll put it first to help start you out.
1. Not sit in the Club Level of the Superdome for games.
Rule 26 of the Fan Checklist said I had to post here.
