What do you think Joe is thinking as he is out for a couple of weeks and you see the offense continue without missing a beat? Is this an indication that Joe is on his way out? I like Joe but is he worth his salary at this point. I personally believe you let him play out his contract, just because of the way he inspires other players and because of what he has done for this team in the past.

I think Joe will come back with a reason to play. Routine kills players like Horn and hopefully he can come back with some extra effort because if Thomas does not play we will need to score 50 to win.

We missed Joe Sunday - Joe's in the game, and we win.

With the softness of Pitt's DB's, Joe would have scored at least twice. Don't under estimate the ole vet. He's still got a couple of very productive years in him that will help us win.

Brees hasn't looked at Joe as the primary since that kid hit the field. He's still doing his job and getting catches. His on the field and off the field leadership is where he seems to be earning his money and he is earning it. For that reason alone, I'd keep the man in gold and black till he retires.

Would Colston be at this level this soon if it weren't for Joe? I wonder.

Copper was Joe's replacement. We don't lose against the steelers if Joe's in the game....

Cooper dropped a critical pass on that last drive, then caused the game ending fumble on the same drive. I'm not saying Joe is god, but I'd be willing to bet he makes that catch and not fumble. Not knocking Colston, but how many receivers do very well their first year only to see a huge drop off in production their sophmore years? It happens quite often. I hope it doesn't but just going by what history has shown true.

joe is probably thinking, "damn, i want some bacon tacoes"

I think Joe knows he's slowing down. He knows that he's about to pass the torch to Colston. Joe, however, is a fighter. He's a Solja!!!!!! He's gonna give you everything that he has in him. And he's still got some fuel in his tank.
Joe likes his money but, Joe still plays for the same reasons you start playing at 8-9 yrs old...for the love of the game. He still has a passion for the game. That's what I love about Joe!

Joe is going to go nuts the weekend because Colston is gonna draw the number 1 coverage from here on out.

Be ready for a 2 TD 100+ yard game.

there was an interview with joe on local tv last night. he said he wanted to play this past sunday, but because he did not get "enough" reps in practice, coach held him out. he says it's killing him, not playing. see attached link. last item: 10pm sports w/ed daniels. film clip.

I really hope so! I really like Joe and he is my favorite player. This may just what he needs! The focus off him and someone to challange him for the spotlight. Everything will be fine as long as we keep winning.
