I'm glad we beat Philadelphia, and Atlanta once so far. I think our last game against the Panthers is going to be huge.
1 Chicago 8-1
2 New Orleans 6-3
3 Seattle 6-3
4 N.Y. Giants 6-3
5 Philadelphia 5-4
6 Atlanta 5-4
7 Dallas 5-4
8 Carolina 5-4
9 San Francisco 4-5
10 St. Louis 4-5
11 Green Bay 4-5
12 Minnesota 4-5
13 Washington 3-6
14 Tampa Bay 2-7
15 Detroit 2-7
16 Arizona 1-8

Is that bracket right? I would have thought that the #1 seed would get the winner of #4 v. #5 and the #2 seed the winner of #3 v. #6, similar to the NCAA pool.

if im thinking right a traditional bracket doesnt work for the playoffs....
in this senario if atl wins they play chi because they would be the lowest ranked team left and would have to play the highest ranked. If seatle beat atl then they would play us and the winner of the philly/NYG would play chicago.

The Bears will play the lowest seed that comes out of round one... he brackets are just a visual...

It's just nice to be able to say, "With 7 games remaining, we not only control our own destiny for the playoffs, but also for a first round bye and a home game. I.E. One game from the NFC championship."

I know: "One game at a time..." At least I can think it. :dunno:

Who would have even imagined it in August?
