I've done a little research.

Here is the link to all of the expert picks on ESPN: http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/features/talent?source=nav

Notice something: Chris Mortensen picks AGAINST the Saints consistently EVERY week, since the beginning of the year.

Even if the other 7 experts picks the Saints, he will go out of his way to pick against them. And he has done it again this week. 7 out of 8 picked the Saints to win but Chris Mortensen has again singled himself out as the only one who doesn't believe the Saints are for real.

According to Chris Mortensen, the Saints should be 1-5. He only picked them to win once, and that was against the Green Bay packers

They call these guys "Experts" and its really sad. It doesn't take a genius (or an expert for that matter) to figure out that the Saints are no where near a 1-5 team. And that's exactly what his picks say: "the Saints are a 1-5 team"

He hates them? Maybe he doesn't think they're a very good football team. Is that so bad? He does have a right to an opinion.

And that's why he has the worst record out of all the "experts".

Im not saying he doesnt have the right to think that.. im saying that he's ignorant, misinformed and overpaid.

im just stating facts:

1. According to him, the Saints should be 1-5.
2. With that being said, he is 1-5 (correct 16% of the time) when predicting Saints games
3. Anyone who calls themself an "expert" and gets paid a lot of money to do what they do should not be predicting less than 50% of their games wrong, in respect to any team.

16% accuracy in predictions on a particular team means you're not doing a good job and it CLEARLY shows he is biased against this team.

being an idiot and hating the saints are two different things

And he has accomplished both of those feats.

If he don't feel we have a very good team
he is dead wrong.
He do have a right to his opinion, but his
opinion is....if I could say what I feel about
his opinion.

How exactly does he "hate" the Saints...because he picked against them?

Sure his opinion is proving to be foolish and mis-informed but do we have to take it so personally? The "no respect" posts are at an all time high in SR.com history.

Well, maybe not every week...
I think you should boycott ESPN until the rectify this egrigious problem.

ESPN pays Mortensen for analysis and to get inside information. The picks are lagniappe, IMO. I doubt anyone is paying the "experts" to make predictions. They just do it because it provides material for them (and the viewers) to talk about.
