According to the following website 4 more wins will give us a 99% chance of making playoffs and 3 more wins will give us a 76% chance.

With that in mind, a win this weekend will be huge as we should be heavily favored in our home games against Washington and San Francisco.

That would leave us needing one win between Atlanta, Dallas, NYG and Carolina.

Wouldn't it be great to be playing Carolina with the #2 NFC seed on the line?

So this week end looms large. Would be a step further in garnering that spot.
Shoot I am leaving the house at 6am sunday to get geared up for this one!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This weekends game is absolutely huge. Both Carolina and Atl face tough games as well and we really could use the separation that we failed to gain last week. If we lose this week, that queasy feeling I am so accustomed to as a Saints fan we start making a comeback. That said, we win this game by 10.

I think we can sweep Atlanta this year there to damaged, and the Bengals game we have to win simply because its a home game and we only get 8 of those a year its the only advantage teams have in this league.

Hasn't anyone learned that when it comes to ANY Saints team you need to throw odds and percentages out the window, The Rams and Vikings have an easy schedule. There is a scenario that we finish 10-6 and come in second to the Falcons or Panthers, and have the Rams or Vikings and the NFC East runner up finish ahead of us. We need to win at least 5 to garuntee

It'll probably come down to NFC record. And we have the best NFC record out of all of the 6-3 teams right now. Those games are a lot more important than the AFC ones, that's the first tie-breaker for division champs seeding and wildcard teams making the playoffs.

The beauty of the next few weeks is that there are at least 12 head to head games with NFC contenders. This is a year to win your own games and not rely on other to lose.

Saints have to win going down the strectch and I really do not see Payton's team being one that falls apart. Two losses were attributed solely to turnovers and that is something a team can fix.

Thanks for the link Kentish Man. Good find.
