Israel is using nanotechnology to try to create a robot no bigger than a hornet that would be able to chase, photograph and kill its targets, an Israeli newspaper reported on Friday. The flying robot, nicknamed the "bionic hornet", would be able to navigate its way down narrow alleyways to target otherwise unreachable enemies such as rocket launchers.

My girlfriend studies insect flight, and takes research trips to Caltech to work with 'Robofly.'

Wonder if she'll be receiving an Israeli grant sometime soon :9:

She could be using this to follow-up and keep taps on you! This technology is a giant step back for all men!

It will be abused.

Probably "malfunction" a lot just the way the targeting systems on their artillery seem to do when pointed at Palestinins.

Riiigghhtttt.

Riiiight.

Or the way those Palestineans seem to just blow up in the most inconvenient places. Geez, that must be annoying.

One is a lot?

And, by putting malfunction in quotations, you are insinuating that they are lying? That they targetted civilians on purpose? Really? Link?

Sure they are lying, they lie all the time.

They have the capability to hit an old man in a wheelchair with pinpoint precision if they choose to do so.

But it's obviously not worth the effort, so you lob artillery shells into the most densely populated area of the planet. Helps to cull the herd.

black, quick question: is Israel ever NOT guilty in your assessment? You're well-read, but seem to have an axe to grind. Just an observation.

I guessing that the reference of "an old man in a wheel chair" is not simply any old man. Just a hunch, but I would guess you are referencing the former leader of the terrorist wing of Hamas.
